Sea Shells

Sea shells
Sea shells
At the beach
I love sea shells
Because they are so great

Shooting Stars

Shooting stars go above the moon
For you too, maybe it’s too soon
It’s okay because we’ll go to bed
I just want to know one thing
One question I have for you
Why do shooting stars go above the moon
Shooting stars go above the moon

Life Was Taken Too Short, Gone Too Young

Just to see your face once more
Your smile brightening any room and bringing in the light
Remembering how silly and funny you would always be
Knowing how much you always cared
Sharing the faith of God and his word everywhere you’d go
Keeping us high even when we felt so low
Building us up when we felt sad and blue
You’d shine as bright as any star when you came through the door
Now all I have left to think of is all the memories bitter sweet of you
While thinking and remembering you
You were a good friend, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a Christian and a social mentor. Now you are a women lay to rest and one who’s made it further than many of the rest
Life taken so short and so tragic with time
Though you made it far and created a new open door maybe to still speak out even once you have moved on
To change someone else life and still pull them thru
It’s been years but often times I still find myself thinking of you and seeing you in so many new things
I believe that you may still be working more from the other side
I miss your laugh though and how you could talk an ear off having the right words to say
Then to suddenly hear the sad news of the traffic accident that day
But in all we’ve pulled on through and still been able to see and think of you
In all the days that we still go thru
Your not a blessing in disguise, your an angel who has gained her thrown within the skies
Your a legacy who will still go far
With many stories to still be told
Your a beautiful women who will never grow old
Your a savior to those who knew you and heard your fame
Your a saint who pulled strong to never give up on others around to help them out before they would fall too far down
Your someone who was gone too young
But all in all your good name remains
With a legacy as she touched everyone in her life in a special way leaving an imprint with them before leaving that day

Tell Me What You Want From Me

Tell me what you want from me

our words are slim to not many these days

I can not sit and read your mind

I want to hear your words

but you just will not speak

Tell me what is on your mind

Tell me the words that you sit and pray

Tell me what you want from me

I do not know which way to lean

I can hear no sounds but the silent heartbeat of my own

Tell me what it is you need

open up your body, soul and mind

let me hear what you have to say

Open up your heart

that your beat drowns out all the white noise around

tell me what you feel within

Tell me what it is your in search of in me

Tell me what is on your mind

Don’t run away and hide

come with me and take a ride

travel down town with me

sit back, relax

 give me a chance

 really get to know me

Tell me all your voice has to say

all that you think of me

let me hear you speak your mind

Tell me what you want from me

Lost In Memory

Lost in memory
Not knowing what everything should be
Forgetting all the important things
Not even remembering names

Lost in memory
Hiding from the known things
Trying hard to return to your past
Taking time to piece together your own life
Working at remembering

Lost in memory is half my life
while the other half is lost within fear of the unknowns and coming of the future for me

Lost in memory
Much of my time
This is where I still remain
Important things I need to recall
Go gone for good once walking into the memory door

Confused and frustrated and misunderstood is what people say that recall all of their own life
They don’t feel what the heartache feels like of being lost forever in memory

They don’t know the frustration and pain
Unless they have gone into lost memory

Maybe tomorrow, yesterday or even next week maybe just maybe my loss of memory will give me a break

Although I doubt that so
For I already know that it happens more than enough for anyone to name
Being lost in that memory game

So I’m not looking for much
Not even a flame burning still in hope
For I know that at this point my life holds onto much doubt
I still believe that my memory shall one day truly fail and that in a year
Even then still I will be lost in memory once more

A Pair Of Boots Sits On A Shelf

A pair of boots sits on the shelf
Old, ragged and all worn out
My best of a pair that I loved so long
Yet now I have grown out and can no longer continue on
The journey with my boots has come to a end
Kinda almost feels like when you’ve lost a friend
Sounds strange I know
But those boots had seen my entire life thru the goods and the bads, now it’s the end
Yet honestly I am not ready to part with those boots yet they’ve decided different
The time has come
This is so I guess it’s true our time must go
Kinda like the footprints poem
They carried me along
And now it’s all I must do now
Relying on faith that one day another pair shall one day fill that empty space
The space on the shelf and again on my soul
Boots that are new and not holes and material with a toe poking thru
Finding and keeping a really good boot that fits you this way is just so hard to do anymore
So some hopes inside just make me think sometime
Will I really be able to fill this void
they are great boots that get me around good
But holes in the toes is just no good
The snug fit around my feet so gentle and nice but it’s time to realize and release
These were good boots, good boots instead
In fact so good I think I’ll just leave them be on my shelf for me to always remember my travels and always remind what good boots they were
So here a pair of boots sit still on that shelf to still travel in memory lane with me

The Shy Guy

Who’s the shy guy
He’s the guy who respects you
The guy who stays to himself
He’s the guy who will truly love you just for you

Who’s the shy guy hiding inside
He’s the sexy man
A man who will do everything for you
The man who will try to always make you happy rather than sad and depressed

He’s the man who will turn over his life to prove himself to you
He’s the guy who will give his life to save you

Who’s the shy guy
He’s a real man
He’s an honest and pure man
He’s all you could ever ask for
He’s just a shy guy
Nothing but handsome and good

Light The Fire, A Dream You And Me

Light the fire
dim the lights
close your eyes
dream a dream of me
there by your side

Dream of me holding your hand
running my fingers through your hair
slowly kissing your face
making love being the best it could ever be

Light the fire
dim the lights
close your eyes
Now think of me
I may not be there for real,
but in spirit I am always with you
it is not a dream
In spirit we can both feel the truth
It is no longer a dream
Not any figments of the imagination that we see
Now it’s just you and me
